Energique Special is a meat-based food for dogs with skin and/or intestinal issues. It has been shown that dogs with intestinal problems no longer experience diarrhea after eight weeks on Energique Special.
Skin problems
Skin problems of various kinds can also be well remedied with Energique Special. A skin condition is usually the result of an underlying illness that has weakened the dog's immune system. Energique Special is super easy to digest due to lamb, rice, and oil, which contain a lot of natural vitamin E. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that, like vitamin C, limits the damage caused by free radicals.
Ideal balance:
Furthermore, Energique Special contains the ideal balance of proteins, rice, and oils, consisting of 85% unsaturated fatty acids. As a cure, we recommend that the dog eats nothing but Energique Special for 12 to 16 weeks. After this 'cure,' the dog can switch to Energique for adult dogs. Optionally, the dog can continue to eat Energique Special for the rest of its life, as this is also a complete food.
For puppies:
For puppies with intestinal and/or skin problems, we recommend starting immediately with Energique Special. For every 2.5 kg of body weight, give approximately 100 grams of Energique Special per day. This is an average, depending on the puppy's activity. The puppy must always have access to fresh water (serve Energique at room temperature).
