Naturis Fresh Meat Food, as the name suggests, is made from fresh meat and frozen for preservation. Absolutely no grains, preservatives, colorings, or binders are added.
We work with fresh meat suitable for human consumption, sourced from EU-approved slaughterhouses. All these slaughterhouses are under the strict control of the FAVV (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain), and our process is no different. In addition to the mandatory FAVV controls, we have our meat tested weekly for salmonella and enterobacteria in an accredited lab to ensure that we only process high-quality raw materials.
The raw materials are processed frozen or ice-cold and are not heated, so that natural vitamins, amino acids, and minerals are preserved.
No extra calcium/phosphorus is added to our Fresh Meat Food. The origin of the calcium/phosphorus always comes from a natural source:
- For poultry varieties: ground bones (e.g., grain-fed chickens, duck, turkey, etc.)
- For beef varieties: ground beef bone and cartilage (e.g., goat, beef, veal, etc.)
- For fish varieties: whole fish are always processed (e.g., mackerel, herring, salmon, etc.)
Seaweed is added to all our varieties, which is a real vitamin boost for your dog.
Naturis has a very extensive range of fresh meat food, so there is certainly something for every dog.
We package our meat in transparent sausage casings. This is not only better for the environment but also allows you to see what you are buying! Because we only use natural products and add no colorings or similar, color variations can sometimes occur. This is not because the composition has been adjusted, but because not every animal is equally fat.
For example:
Sometimes chickens are fatter than usual, and then you will see that the sausage is very light in color. If the chickens were less fat, you will find that the sausage is darker. This is absolutely harmless to your dog and is simply nature.

This food is guaranteed free of binders, fragrances, colorings, flavorings, pork, and animal testing.
Storage: in the freezer
Thawing: in the refrigerator, after thawing, the meat can be kept for 2 days in the refrigerator. It is best to store the thawed sausage in a Naturis Curver thawing and storage box, as it seals well.
Tip: cut the casing off the sausage while it is still frozen! This prevents meat pieces from sticking to your hands or in the clips.
