Dosage

Reduce the dosage to once daily after the first week. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.
The scoop in PUUR Probiotics 50 grams contains approximately 0.5 grams. The scoop in PUUR Probiotics 150 grams contains approximately 2.5 grams.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer to appear.
Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be switched to. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at first; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.
1 gram Puur Probiotic contains 1.0 billion CFU at production.
Administration
Preferably dissolve powder in lukewarm water, let stand for fifteen minutes, stir and administer. Preferably on an empty stomach.
Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. In case of chronic discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.
This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to include a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.
Interaction and contraindication
Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the treating veterinarian.
To date, no side effects of this product are known or have been reported.
Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and the box.
