Properties per ingredient: PUUR Psyllium contains only the active ingredient, namely the husk of the psyllium seed and not the whole seed. This has the property of being able to absorb a lot of moisture. This makes the intestinal contents softer and more voluminous, which improves intestinal transit. This prevents constipation and improves intestinal peristalsis. Psyllium Husk can bind toxins and heavy metals, thus supporting the body's detoxification mechanism. PUUR Psyllium is given with little water for loose stools and with plenty of water for constipation.

Promotes internal cleansing, good for intestinal peristalsis. Dosage and application:

The optimal dosage is 1 - 2 times daily:

Dog > 25 kg 1.5 scoop

Dog 10-25 kg 1 scoop

Dog < 10 kg and cat 0.5 scoop

1 scoop contains approximately 2 grams.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In this case, give the maximum daily dose. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer to appear.

Administration
Can be mixed with food, moisten the food so that it is not blown out of the bowl. For loose stools, give PUUR Psyllium with little water. To soften the stool, give with plenty of water.

Advice for use
Ensure good quality food and constant access to fresh drinking water.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from 1 to 3 days. If improvement occurs, continue administering this product for a few more days.

For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 days. Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dose may be necessary; this product can be safely given in a double dose. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose.

This product can be given continuously.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.

Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without objection in combination with other natural health products and regular medicines. Combine with PUUR Probiotica or Phytonics Probiotics for restoration of the intestinal flora. Give PUUR Diarree to stimulate the self-healing capacity for loose stools. For vomiting, nausea or bloating, give PUUR Maag or Phytonics Gastri comp.

Contraindications
During pregnancy and lactation, always use in consultation with the treating veterinarian. Do not give to animals with an intestinal obstruction.
