Properties per ingredient:
Vitamin A: has an important function in the cell division of epithelial cells and has a positive effect on eye function, growth and reproduction.

Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12: B vitamins are important for energy metabolism. They are part of many reactions involving the conversion of food into energy (e.g., citric acid cycle, glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation). They are also important in other reactions where carbohydrates, fats and amino acids are metabolized. B vitamins are also important for the functioning of the nervous system. Skin, hair and mucous membranes improve in condition with the use of B vitamins.

Vitamin C: activates the immune system and is important for collagen formation in tendons and ligaments. Although most animals can produce it themselves, a deficiency can occur under certain circumstances.

Vitamin D: regulates calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood by promoting absorption from food in the intestines. It also ensures the reabsorption of calcium and phosphorus in the kidneys. It promotes bone formation and mineralization of bone tissue and stimulates the immune system. It can be produced by the body under the influence of sunlight. Horses that spend a lot of time in the stable may have a deficiency.

Vitamin E: has an antioxidant effect, it protects unsaturated fatty acids from free radicals. It has a positive effect on blood vessels, prevents the formation of blood clots, improves blood circulation and strengthens capillary walls. Vitamin E plays a role in the formation and protection of red blood cells against toxins. It supplies oxygen to organs and especially muscles. It plays a role in the transmission of nerve impulses.

Bioflavonoids (95% Hesperidin): have an anti-oxidative effect and improve the absorption of vitamin C. They also ensure healthy blood vessels and good blood circulation.

Folic acid: is a B vitamin. It plays an important role in methylation processes and is therefore important in cell division and in growth and differentiation processes. It is also involved, together with vitamin B12, in the breakdown of proteins and in amino acid metabolism. Furthermore, folic acid and vitamin B12 help in the production of red blood cells.

Inositol: is closely associated with choline and is an important nutrient for brain cells; it

improves stress management.

PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid): is important for the health of the intestinal system and skin, among other things. It is also involved in the functioning of immune cells and red blood cells.

Bamboo extract: contains Silicon. This is important for the condition of connective tissue and vascular walls. It causes an increase in collagen.

Calcium: is important for bone and tooth formation and plays an important role in muscle contraction.

Dosage and application:

Unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian or therapist.

The optimal dosage is once a day.

Dog > 25 kg 4 scoops

Dog 10-25 kg 2½ scoops

Dog < 10 kg and cat 1 scoop

1 scoop contains approximately 1 gram.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dosage for one day. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may be delayed slightly.

Administration
Moisten the powder so that it cannot be blown out of the feed bowl.

Advice for use
To maintain optimal resistance, it is necessary for an animal to receive all necessary vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities. In autumn, for example, many dogs' resistance – just like humans' – decreases slightly due to the change in weather and the switch from summer to winter coat. To prevent an animal from becoming susceptible to diseases, a good vitamin and mineral supplement can be given preventively. PUUR Vitamins and Minerals contains a balanced composition of all necessary vitamins and minerals and can be excellently given as a supplement to food, for example to older dogs or to puppies. It can also be supplemented very well as an extra boost after, for example, recovery from illness. Contrary to what is often claimed, when supplementing vitamin and mineral preparations, it is necessary to give the supplement for a longer period. A one-time 'vitamin shot' via an injector, as is often recommended, has little effect and certainly not in the long term. The body needs time to recover and absorb all vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities, and that doesn't happen in one day!

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from 2 to 6 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more weeks.

For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage. This product can be given continuously.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label.
