The Trixie Life Vest for Dogs Yellow/Black XS up to 12 kg is a comfortable and functional life vest with a rescue handle, designed to provide your dog with extra support while swimming, playing near water or sailing on a boat. The vest is made of sturdy polyester and stays securely in place thanks to adjustable nylon straps with click fasteners and a wide Velcro closure. Due to its anatomical fit, the vest is comfortable to wear and does not restrict your dog's freedom of movement. The sturdy rescue handle with two D-rings makes it possible to intervene quickly when needed.

Suitable for dogs up to 12 kg. The weight is the determining factor for the correct size, as the vest must provide sufficient buoyancy. Please note, the life vest is not suitable for short-legged dog breeds such as dachshunds.

Which size should you choose?
The life vest is available in five sizes. When choosing, pay particular attention to your dog's weight – this is more important than the back length. A properly fitting vest should also not fall over the base of the tail, as dogs use their tail to steer in the water. Carefully measure your dog and check the measurements for a good fit.

Available sizes:
• XS: up to 12 kg – back length 28 cm – belly circumference 30-50 cm
• S: up to 20 kg – back length 35 cm – belly circumference 42-66 cm
• M: up to 30 kg – back length 45 cm – belly circumference 45-72 cm
• L: up to 36 kg – back length 55 cm – belly circumference 50-80 cm
• XL: up to 45 kg – back length 55 cm – belly circumference 60-96 cm

Please note: choose the size based on your dog's weight, not just the back length. Ensure the vest does not fall over the base of the tail so your dog can steer freely in the water.
