Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be better processed into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.

Poultry

Chamomile

Chamomile is a genus of the daisy family. Chamomile is widely cultivated in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name Chamomile comes from a Greek word meaning 'ground apple' and refers to its apple scent. Chamomile has an excellent reputation in natural medicine.

Chamomile can be added to Yourdog dog food because it could positively contribute to preventing breed-specific complaints related to the stomach, intestines, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation, and urinary tract.

Chamomile can have a mild calming effect on dogs and could therefore be used for dogs that often experience stress. In addition, it can have a positive effect on dogs with a 'nervous digestion'. It can have antispasmodic and antiseptic properties.

Basil

Basil is a genus of the mint family. The name comes from ancient Greek, where 'basileus' means king, hence the alternative name king's herb. It is originally found between Central Africa and Southeast Asia.

According to traditional medicine, basil was used as a treatment method for arthritis, bronchitis, colds, stomach ulcers, heart disease, and abdominal pain, among other things. Research has shown that basil can have strong antioxidant, antiviral, and antimicrobial properties. Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Bernese Hound dog food varieties, you can use the following guidelines. If your Bernese Hound is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variety. For a Bernese Hound older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Bernese Hound Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variety.

If your Bernese Hound does not seem to like its Yourdog dog food, please contact us. We will help you analyze the problems. Feeding Advice

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After your own judgment, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Bernese Hound dog food.

Storage Advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or container in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the container, but to place the entire bag, which you seal as well as possible, in the container.
