Feeding Guidelines

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. Allow the dog to get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to allow the dog to get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. You can then, at your discretion, start feeding 100% Yourdog Black and Tan Coonhound dog food.

Storage Advice

After opening Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the bin but to place the entire bag, tightly sealed as best as possible, into the bin.
