Our ingredients

For our feed, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for every 12 kg bag, allowing it to be processed more effectively into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content, and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

Depending on the size of the dog, the breed, or the breed group, certain ingredients are highlighted. Breed-specific issues can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.

Bull Terrier-specific vegetables, herbs, and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Bull Terrier. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Bull Terrier belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Bull Terrier.

Thyme

Thyme is a genus from the Lamiaceae family. It includes herbaceous or woody plants with a very aromatic scent. Thyme was used by the Greeks and Romans as a medicinal herb against lung diseases, rheumatism, paralysis, stomach cramps, tumors, headaches, colic, and nervous weaknesses.

The medicinal properties of thyme are confirmed by the high values of vitamin K it contains. In addition, thyme also contains a lot of iron, as well as the minerals calcium and manganese. It also contains the amino acid tryptophan and a significant amount of fiber.

Thyme is anti-inflammatory and has powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties. In addition, it stimulates the production of white blood cells and strengthens the immune system. Thyme is rich in antioxidants and effectively combats free radicals.

Echinacea

Apple

Puppy, Adult, or Senior?

To help you choose the right variant of our Bull Terrier dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Bull Terrier is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Bull Terrier older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Bull Terrier Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding advice

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can, at your discretion, start feeding 100% Yourdog Bull Terrier dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to pour the food directly into the bin, but to place the entire bag, which you have sealed as well as possible, into the bin.
