Our ingredients

To make our food, for a 12 kg bag, 10.6 kg of meat is dried so that it can be processed better into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables are not only nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog, ensuring that the dog receives all essential, natural antioxidants. Fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to fresh breath or maintaining healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants and algae, among other things, dates back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are highlighted. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

English Bulldog specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the English Bulldog. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the English Bulldog belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the English Bulldog.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a genus of the daisy family. Chamomile is widely cultivated in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name Chamomile comes from a Greek word meaning "earth apple" and refers to its apple scent. Chamomile has a great reputation in natural medicine.

Chamomile can be added to Yourdog dog food because it could make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific complaints in relation to the stomach, intestines, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation and urinary tract.

Chamomile can have a mild calming effect on dogs and could therefore be used for dogs that often experience stress. In addition, it can have a positive effect on dogs with "nervous digestion". It can have an antispasmodic and antiseptic effect.

Parsley

Parsley is a biennial, hardy, herbaceous plant of the Apiaceae family. Parsley has been used as a medicinal herb for hundreds of years. There are dozens of diseases that parsley combats. According to various sources, it cures diarrhea, anemia and ear infections, among other things. It is packed with more iron than spinach, for example. Parsley also contains other minerals such as silicon, as well as vitamins B and C and carotene.

At Yourdog, we add parsley to dog food because it could make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific complaints in relation to blood, heart and kidneys.

Parsley is a natural source of vitamins C, A and K. This can contribute to the immune system and eyes and can benefit the cardiovascular system and liver. Parsley also has anti-inflammatory properties and can have a diuretic effect, which keeps the dog's bladder free from contamination.

Blueberry

Blueberries belong to the heather family of plants and grow mainly in open forests in the northern hemisphere. The plant has been used for a long time in traditional European medicine and is known for its positive effects on diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and diabetes.

Blueberries can be added to our dog food because they are rich in antioxidants, which protect the body against free radicals. In addition, they contain good fibers for digestion and the berries are rich in vitamins C and K. It could support the immune system and contribute to the dog's overall health.

Feeding advice

Body weight (kg) Daily amount (g)
10 - 20 190 - 315
20 - 40 315 - 525
40 - 60 525 - 750

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog English Bulldog dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or container in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the container, but to place it with the entire bag, which you close as tightly as possible, in the container.
