Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

Chamomile

Chamomile is a genus of the daisy family. Chamomile is widely cultivated in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name Chamomile comes from a Greek word meaning "ground apple" and refers to its apple-like scent. Chamomile has an excellent reputation in natural medicine.

Chamomile can be added to Yourdog dog food because it could make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific complaints related to the stomach, intestines, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation, and urinary tract.

Chamomile can have a mild calming effect on dogs and could therefore be used for dogs that often experience stress. In addition, it can have a positive effect on dogs with "nervous digestion" as it can have antispasmodic and antiseptic properties.

Parsley

Parsley is a biennial, hardy, herbaceous plant of the Apiaceae family. Parsley has been used as a medicinal herb for hundreds of years. There are dozens of diseases that parsley fights. According to various sources, it cures diarrhea, anemia, and ear infections, among other things. It is full of iron, more than spinach, for example. Parsley also contains other minerals such as silicon, as well as vitamins B and C and carotene.

Parsley is a natural source of vitamins C, A, and K. This can contribute to the immune system and eyes and can benefit the cardiovascular system and liver. Parsley also has anti-inflammatory properties and can have a diuretic effect, keeping the dog's bladder free from contamination.

Celery

Celery is a plant of the Apiaceae family. The plant is often found along the coast in wet soil.

Celery is rich in vitamins A, C, and K, but also contains a lot of folic acid and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, rich in fiber, and very low in calories.

We add celery to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's immune system and digestion. It can also have a positive effect on the skin and coat, the functioning of muscles and nerves due to vitamin A, and maintaining strong bones due to vitamin K.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Fila Brasileiro dog food varieties, you can use the following guidelines. If your Fila Brasileiro is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Fila Brasileiro older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Fila Brasileiro senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

If your Fila Brasileiro does not seem to like its Yourdog dog food, please contact us. We will help you analyze the problems. If we cannot resolve it together, you will receive a refund of your purchase amount.

Feeding advice

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can, at your discretion, start feeding 100% Yourdog Fila Brasileiro dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to pour the food loosely into the bin, but to place the entire bag, which you close as tightly as possible, into the bin.
